New York, USA – September 2025:
Md. Liton Ahmed, President of the U.S. Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (USBCCI), participated in the Centre for Non Resident Bangladeshi (CNRB) World Conference 2025, held on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

The conference, held under the theme “Branding Bangladesh: Peace, Prosperity & Harmony,” brought together government officials, business leaders, policymakers, and diaspora representatives from around the world. Discussions centered on strengthening Bangladesh’s global image through trade, investment, peacebuilding, and international cooperation.

As a representative of the Bangladeshi-American business community, USBCCI President Md. Liton Ahmed’s presence at this high-level forum highlighted the critical role of diaspora leadership in advancing Bangladesh’s global positioning. The conference addressed strategies to:

  • Promote Bangladesh as a reliable partner in trade and investment
  • Enhance international collaboration for sustainable development
  • Empower the Bangladeshi diaspora as ambassadors of peace and progress
  • Build bridges between Bangladesh and global markets
