New York, October 7, 2025 — Md. Liton Ahmed, President & CEO of the U.S. Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (USBCCI), attended “An Evening of Global Insight and Conversation” hosted by BRAC USA at Mayer Brown, New York.
The event, featuring Shameran Abed, Executive Director of BRAC International, brought together global leaders and development professionals for an inspiring dialogue on advancing sustainable poverty alleviation and community empowerment initiatives across Africa and Asia.
During the program, discussions highlighted BRAC International’s remarkable success in scaling its proven approaches from Bangladesh to over 140 million people worldwide—tackling challenges in education, health, livelihoods, and poverty reduction.
